Jalapeno Popper Dip

Ingredients 

1  8oz Package of Cream Cheese/room temperature

1/2 cup Mayonnaise 

1/2 cup Cheddar Cheese ,grated

1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese,grated

1   4oz can of sliced Jalapenos, pickled 

1 Jalapeno Pepper chopped,(optional)

Toppings

1/4 cup Panko Bread Crumbs

1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese grated

 

1. Mix Cream Cheese,mayonnaise,cheddar cheese,parmesan and jalapenos in a bowl pour into baking dish.

2. In separate bowl mix panko bread crumbs and parmesan cheese,then sprinkle over the dip.

3.  Bake at 375F in oven until bubbling on the sides approx 15-20 minutes.

 

This dip is always a hit at my get together’s,never any left. If you like jalapeno poppers you will love this dip. If u want a little more heat in your dip add the fresh Jalapenos chopped. YUMMY!

Toffee Pecan Pie

My husband loves his Pecan Pie during the Holidays,this year I added something a little extra.  Health Bar Toffee Bits!!!

 

3 Eggs

1 Cup Corn Syrup

1 Pinch Salt

1/2 Cup Sugar

1 tsp Vanilla

2 Cups Pecans

1/2 Stick Butter 

1 Cup Toffee Bits

1 Pie Crust

 

1.  Preheat the oven to 350 degrees 

2.  Mix together eggs,sugar,corn syrup,vanilla,melted butter and salt combine well,then stir in toffee bits.

3.  Pour into pie crust and place into the oven until pie is browned and set…about 45 mins to a hour depending on your oven.

 

We really enjoyed this recipe…found this one on Pinterest from add a pinch.  It’s a great add to this pie and doesn’t change the flavor a lot,but gives it an extra lift. 

We rated it a 9 out of 10! Will definitely be making it again!

Pork Tenderloin with Apples and Pears/Crock Pot

  I have made this twice now and we love it!

 

1 Pork Tenderloin 2-3lbs

1 Red Apple

1 Pear

1/2 cup Apple Juice

1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

1 teaspoon of Cinnamon

4 Tablespoons honey

Cut the Apple and the Pear into slices ,add half of each one to the bottom of the Crock Pot sprinkle with a little cinnamon, 2 tablespoon of honey,1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup Apple Juice. 

Put slits into the pork loin approx 3/4 inch sections ,drizzle honey into each slit then place apple slices in slits,drizzle whole pork loin with honey.

Put the loin in the Crock Pot cover with remain apples and pears,sprinkle the whole loin with cinnamon ….

cook on low for 7 hours or until reaching 145 degrees with meat thermometer.

I serve this mashed red potatoes and a veggie.  The Juice from the pork loin is great over the potatoes!

Chicken Pot Pie Soup..in the Crock Pot

Ingredients

1-32oz Swansons Chicken Broth

1 Family size package of Boneless Skinless Chicken thighs

1-32oz bag of Mixed Veggies (carrots,green beans,peas,corn,lima beans,) or u can use fresh veggies

1-Leek cleaned and chopped

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

1 tablespoon pepper(or to your taste)

1-16oz container of heavy whipping cream

1 Box of instant potatoes (optional)

Put Chicken Broth,Chicken,Veggies,Leek,Parsley,and Pepper in Crock Pot. Cook on low for 6-7 hours,or on high for 4-5.

The last 30 mins add container of Heavy Whipping Cream,If you like your soup to be thicker like I do,you can add 1 1/2 to 2 cups of the instant potatoes to thicken .

Serve with warm flaky biscuits

Recipe will serve 6-8 people

This is one of our favorites! It will warm you up on those cold winter days.

Pumpkin Crunch!!

If u like Pumpkin Pie you will Love this!  Your House will smell AMAZING!!

1 1/2 Cups Sugar

1-12oz Can Evaporated Milk

1-15oz can of Pumpkin

3 eggs

1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon 

Mix together well in a large Bowl,pour into a greaced 13×9 pan

Topping

1 box of Yellow Cake Mix

1 Cup Melted Butter

1 Cup Crushed Pecans (optional)

Sprinkle dry cake mix on top of pumpkin mixture,the pour melted butter on top,then sprinkle with crushed pecans 

Serve chilled or warm with Whip Cream or Vanilla Ice Cream!!  🙂

Hello! I’m Rebecca D. I am a stay at home mother of four wonderful children, and married to the love of my life Mark for 14 years. I have three daughters,Samantha-5,Abigail-7,Shalynn-11,and one son Tyrell -14.

Life is pretty hectic with our large family with school,sports,homework, I could go on but we would be here all day.  With such a busy schedule its hard to get quality time with your family, in our house its at the dinner table. In the little time I do have I search for two new recipes each week,it can be a main dish or a yummy dessert.  I have my family rate the meal and ask if they would like me to make it again.  After months of my best friend encouraging me to blog my recipes and reviews,I have decided to do it.  So for the next year I will post 2 recipes each week,along with the families reviews.

I am so excited to start this new adventure with many new friends and hope u come2mytable! 🙂
